What is ‘Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre for Holocaust Studies’?

Who is Simon Wiesenthal?
Simon Wiesenthal is a holocoust survivour, author and human rights advoacate. He started this foundation with the intention of pursuing Nazi war criminals and bringing them to justice. Now the foundation has expanded it's goals to create world peace by educationg the world on all of the terrible things that are going on around us that we sometimes can't even see.
He had very strong views on the idea of everyone having equal rights, regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender or religion.


What are ‘Human Rights’?
Human beings are entitled to inherent rights that we all deserve, no matter our race, nationality, ethnic origin, sex, gender, religion, and any other factor that determines our identity. We should be be accredited these rights without discrimination. By law, universal human rights are guaranteed in the form of treaties, customary international law, general principles and other sources of international law.
